_ About the Foundation

A formal commitment to healing-centered, equitable community care

Roots & Resilience Wellness Foundation exists to address gaps in access to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and community-based wellness supports. We recognize that mental health, trauma recovery, and family well-being are shaped by broader social conditions — inequity, displacement, exclusion, and barriers to care.
Through education, programming, partnerships, and advocacy, the Foundation works to strengthen both individual healing and the resilience of families, organizations, and communities. We support practical, compassionate, and sustainable responses to community wellness needs.

A commitment to healing-centered communities

Roots & Resilience Wellness Foundation was created from a deep commitment to support individuals, families, and communities who face barriers to accessing compassionate and culturally responsive mental health care. Across many communities, trauma, addiction, displacement, and systemic inequities continue to impact well-being and opportunities for healing.

Our vision is to help build systems of care that prioritize dignity, resilience, and belonging. Through education, partnerships, and community-centered programming, the Foundation seeks to strengthen pathways to healing while supporting long-term resilience for future generations.
We believe meaningful change happens when communities, organizations, and institutions work together with humility, compassion, and shared responsibility. We are grateful to the partners, supporters, and communities who walk alongside us in this work.
